The Whoopie Cushion: a Vaudeville Variety Show
Friday, February 14th, 2020 at 8PM

Love and laughter were in the air, whether you found yourself in VIP seating or in general admission; this Vaudeville Variety Show kept the crowd laughing and cheering the whole night. Beer and cocktails were served by Stump City Brewery and the smell of popcorn filled the theater as the night began. Magician Bill Bing kept the audience entertained while people filed in to find their seats at 7PM, an hour before the show. With jokes, dancing, singing, a hilarious monologue, and a final thrill act, each and every performer showed the audience a great time. To top it all off, proceeds from this event were split between the Glove Theatre to renovate and restore the theater, and to benefit the Elk Street Park in Gloversville. Thanks to Addictive Pain Tattoo for hosting the event!

What a way to kick off the grand re-opening of our theater. Every year The Glove Theatre hosts a local kids’ show, bringing in children from not just Fulton County, but contiguous counties as well. Four shows directed by Jenn Flynn, the theater was packed and sold out multiple nights with at least 200 seats sold every night! The kids did a fantastic job and the show was a great success.
