Aaron Enfield

Aaron Enfield, MRP, is the Treasurer of the Glove Theatre chairs the Strategic Planning Subcommittee. A Gloversville native, Mr. Enfield started volunteering at the Glove Theatre during high school in the late 1990s, and at times performed. After a 20-year hiatus from the region, he is using his professional nonprofit experience to assist in the theatre’s rehabilitation and renaissance. 

Mr. Enfield’s eclectic arts background includes Proctors Theatre (Contracts Manager, Producer of a play festival focusing on new works, Capital Campaign Manager, and box office); Hamptons International Film Festival (Manager of Special Events and Venue Management); Nantucket Film Festival (Production Manager); FringeNYC (Script Adjudicator); Washington National Opera (Costume Coordinator for Wagner’s “The Ring Cycle”); Utah Shakespearean Theatre Festival (Wardrobe); Stageworks/Hudson (Development Director and Costume Designer); Capital Repertory Theatre (Costumes); Creative Capital (Event Logistics); Tribeca Film Festival (Events and Production Logistics); and Tisch School of the Arts (Costume Designer).

He is employed with Fulton County within the Department of Planning and Tourism as Senior Planner; working with numerous municipalities and their Planning Boards as well as county-led initiatives. 

Other non-arts related employment includes NYSERDA; SUNY Research Foundation; Third Eye Associates; Fish and Game Restaurant (2016 James Beard for Best Chef in the Northeast); Sketch Art Supplies; Historic Hudson; Bluecashew Events; Miss Pixies Furnishings, and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Since 2009, he has sold vintage clothing and kitsch homegoods in shops within Hudson, Woodstock, Brooklyn, and Washington, D.C. 

Mr. Enfield is a graduate of the University at Albany State University of New York (SUNY), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning (MRP).
