Our growing “family” of volunteers is made up of community members from all backgrounds and walks of life, comprising students, seniors, business owners, and more.

The Glove is always on the look-out for outgoing, energetic volunteers for:

  • Box Office

  • Museum Docent

  • Concessions

  • Ushering

  • Street Team

  • Technical

  • Clean-up

  • Large Project Pushes

  • As often as you’d like!

  • Once we receive your application, you’ll be invited to our SignUp Genius group where you can sign up for events or projects! It’s simple, easy, and free!

  • The Glove Theatre has partnered with the Greater Gloversville School System for middle and high school community service credit, and has also assisted in the writing of letters of recommendation.
    Unfortunately, volunteering at The Glove does not currently fulfill State mandated community service requirements.

  • Volunteers attend the events for which they volunteer for FREE! Many of our volunteers enjoy talking to community member patrons and clients and feel a part of something bigger.

    Volunteering is also a great way to show your skills in all your areas of expertise, which could lead to internships or eventual employment at The Glove!
