Chris Ihasz

Treasurer, Marketing Chair

Chris Ihasz, MBA, MS Project Management, chairs the Marketing committee for the Glove as well as is a member of the Building committee. A recent transplant to Gloversville, Chris has spent the last 25 years living in New Hampshire. During that time he volunteered and sat on the board of directors for the New Hampshire Writers Project. Notable achievements included aiding bringing marketing to the Writers Project as well as supporting the annual Writer’s day and 603 Writers’ conference.

Chris’ theater background stems from his undergraduate years where he not only graced the stage in limited performances but also worked extensively behind the scenes doing lighting, set and prop work. He also produced and directed a one act play “The Baltimore Waltz” as a part of his capstone project. Chris continued to use his theater experience in a number of local summer stock and regional theaters.

Professionally, Mr. Ihasz works as a Director, Client Management for a major financial organization. Prior non-theatrical work also included strategic client Program Management and repair and installation of analytical chemistry equipment.

When not working or hanging lights at the Glove,  Chris builds and paints and competitively plays in miniature war gaming competitions.
