Jameson Duross, popularly known as "Sonny", is a community staple who can be seen almost daily in the Children’s section of The Gloversville Public Library. He is a board member of Johnstown’s Colonial Little Theatre, and has appeared on The Glove Theatre stage as the zany Scorbute in Looking For the Little Mouse, Prince Hæmon in Antigone, and was a recurring “Whoopie Maker” in The Glove’s now-defunct Whoopie Cushion variety show series.

He is an accomplished and seasoned actor, having been in over 70 stage shows and over two dozen independent films and diverse professional projects including Fester Addams (The Addams Family, CLT), and Lord Corbin (Axe Grinder 666, Mad Angel Films). He is also a publisher author, with two books of poetry under his belt so far, and is continuously working on multiple YA fantasy projects.

He hopes to soon complete his first music album. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, writing, watching TV, playing video games, surfing the web, shopping, and spending time with friends. He currently resides in upstate NY where he was born and raised, and has worked at his local library for nearly two decades. Sonny is also the storytelling coach and dramaturge for The Glove Theatre Summer Academy (Bacchanalia '22, Fairy Tales...Flipped, and 2024’s The Necklace).
